We understand that you want a partner who will understand your business, and provide solutions that your users can work with, and that will make a difference. We see ourselves as an extension of your own team. We take the time to get to know the issues you are facing, the context in which they are placed, the stakeholders involved - and to give you options for the solutions.
To start with, we’d like to talk to you and your interested parties, either face to face or in a call. We’ll then provide you with a proposal that clearly states how we will address the problem, what dependencies there are or assumptions made, with an indication of cost and time involved. We may suggest that we give you a ‘proof of concept’ which will test the basic technology. Our proposal will take into account your organisation’s IT standards, and will be designed to use open platforms wherever we can.
We’ll use agile-style development techniques and stay in touch with you so that you can see the work as it progresses. By making pre-release software available for you to look at and play with, we can get your input into the usability and functionality as we go. We can tweak the developments according to your feedback. You get to talk not only to our project manager, but also to the developers working on your project. We find keeping the communication line short means fewer misinterpretations or misunderstandings.
Where the job requires integration with another system, we’re happy to talk directly with your other suppliers, or your in-house developers, to ensure that data flows are smooth, accurate and timely.
When we release the software for your final approval, we’ll give you everything you’d expect - documentation, training for your trainers, and a detailed plan for the implementation of the software into a live environment, including things that you or your other suppliers may need to put in place (such as legacy data provision, or a user training programme).
Once you’re working with the software across the business, we stay with you to support it. Our friendly call handlers are trained in the use of our software so they don’t just pass information on, they can really help you with basic questions. If things are a little more complicated, they have direct access to the developers who wrote your system so you can be confident of a rapid, knowledgeable response.
Some of our customers have stayed with us for over 20 years. That feels like we are part of their operation, invested in their success. We’d like to develop that friendship with you.
